Arne Jacobsen

Arne Jacobsen is the danish architect who masters the most personal and successful interpretation of the international functionalism. Arne Jacobsen's designs came into existence as brief sketches and were modelled in plaster or cardboard in full size. His chair "model 3107" is his masterpiece. It was produced in beech, black and white. It is nowadays produced in a variety of colours and materials: cherry, ash and marple. It has become the most important success in Danish furniture history - manifactured in more than 5 million copie.
